I selected 'love in a mist' as the paint colour for the nursery. It kind of summarizes the week. We are pretty sure we see a completed adoption coming our way...but it's foggy. Latest is that there is something in our child's dossier that needs to be corrected. The line-up for second letters hasn't eased as all agencies try to get things through before Tet closures. So while Dorinda maintains she really believes we will be 'done by March'...there is no measurable movement for us to validate that. But it seems others are moving, so that is a relief.
And so I have decided to just think positive and launch right into the nursery and travel preparations. I have my international travel medical appointment booked. Plan to finish the nursery next week.
Away all weekend for a hockey tournament. Our first. Should be interesting...

ReplyDeleteI just finished the second coat. In the tin the colour looks like pepto bismol and the first coat looked like cotton candy...but now that the second coat is on and drying it is looking good. Can't wait to bring in the furniture and finish the decorating.
