promise of more photos and more prep plus enjoying family time

Got word today that F. has gotten MORE photos and video for us...unbelievable!  So of course frequent mail checking has resumed...

Another family from Toronto left yesterday for VT1, so possibility of more news through them as well, although no blog to share.

No word for us...yet...from Dorinda in Vietnam.  News from other folks makes me think she must be working from North to South this time.  Also, a family from Quebec who received a VT1 referral a few weeks ahead of us has been given a heads up for possible travel over Christmas...so that seems promising.

We took the boys to Niagara Falls overnight, including 2 days of waterpark fun.  Left Thursday as Friday was a day off school.  Then last night went to see MegaMind at the theatre.  As much as we want our baby home we are really enjoying these times together as a family...things that will be a bit tricker to do over the next year or so with a wee babe joining the clan.

Thinking it is about time to post our good news to the Yahoo group...along with an appeal again for newsletter help.  Several folks have offered their assistance, taking a lot of the load off me, but still looking for someone to help with the layout and also with coordinating family features.  An announcement would also open the channel for others who may be waiting to travel to contact me, so that would be nice.  And I do hope to be able to return the favour of taking photos for a waiting family while we are there.

Preparations around home continue...and Arn is getting in the spirit too!  In fact, we are about to head to Ikea in search of a media cabinet!

  1. Hi Sharon,

I think this is a great time to be waiting to hear about travel as there is so much else to be doing and a fun time of year, so it will help to pass the time quickly.
I'm hoping That Dorinda will bring some good news for the rest of us soon!
